The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards within our facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position requires a strong commitment to quality and adherence to safety protocols, particularly in a hospital or healthcare setting. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning and sanitization of various areas, including patient rooms, restrooms, and common areas. Execute commercial cleaning tasks following established protocols to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, and buffing to maintain high cleanliness standards. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment effectively while adhering to safety guidelines. Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, reporting any shortages or needs to management. Assist in the setup and breakdown of facilities for events or special functions as required. Collaborate with environmental services staff to ensure thorough cleaning practices are upheld. Experience Previous experience in custodial or environmental services is preferred, especially within a hospital or healthcare environment. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Knowledge of OSHA standards related to workplace safety and sanitation practices is a plus.
