Job Description:

Volt is immediately hiring Janitorial in Vance, AL . As aJanitorial , you will be responsible for:

Duties andResponsibilities:

Cleans and maintains buildings/facilities.

Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooingrugs, washing walls and glass, and removing trash. Notifiesmanagers concerning the need for minor or major repairs oradditions to building operating systems. Establishes and maintainseffective communication and working relationships with clients,co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.

Complies with all safety, security, compliance, and qualitystandards and procedures established by the Company, Clients, andregulatory authorities. Cleaner must be flexible and willing tocomplete all tasks that are assigned. Cleans building floors bysweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them. Follows proceduresfor the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to preventdamage to floors and fixtures. Utilizes ladders, dusts and washesfurniture, walls, blinds and select equipment; cleans ceilings anddusts light fixtures and ceiling vents. Removes stains fromsurfaces such as carpet, drapes/shades, walls, and floors usingchemicals and cleaning solutions. Prepares cleaning solutions perspecifications. Strips, seals, finishes, and polishes floors.

Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spotcleaning treatment. Gathers trash and empties in appropriate trashand recycling bins. Wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs,refrigerators, microwaves, etc. Cleans and polishes furniture andfixtures. Services, cleans, and supplies restrooms. Cleans interiorpartition glass, windows, glass partitions, and mirrors. Keepsjanitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in goodworking order. Monitors building security and safety by performingsuch tasks as locking doors after operating hours and possiblychecking electrical appliance use to ensure that hazards are notcreated.

SKILLS:

1 year of relevant experience in industrial orcommercial cleaning This is a Full-Time, Contract opportunity.
