Janitorial/Maintenance 5.0 5.0 out of 5 stars 1604 Honeysuckle St, Lowell, AR 72745 The Maintenance Technician is responsible for following the cleaning schedule for NWAFB facilities in a manner that is timely and complies with all rules, regulations, and guidelines to which the tasks are subject. The role maintains the cleanliness and operability of the warehouse, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for employees and visitors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES, FUNCTIONS, AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum all floors and staircases. Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and most areas within the building. Dust and wipe down all appliances, countertops, interior furniture, windows, and doors. Empty trash cans and recycling bins, and ensure proper disposal of waste. Clean exterior windows. Basic grounds care, including the use of a leaf blower and trash pickup. Refill paper towels, toilet paper, and soap dispensers. Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and minor repairs. Responsible for ensuring facilities are clean, functioning properly, in good repair, and safety hazards are not present. Operate a floor scrubber, vacuum cleaner, electric power washer, push lawn mower, weed eater, and lawn blower. Submits issues to supervisor as they are found. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Follow all organizational safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries. Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality. Comply with company policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned. Based on the essential duties listed above, this position is considered safety-sensitive and therefore all work must be performed following quality standards and established safety procedures.
EDUCATIONRELATED EXPERIENCE A
high school diploma or GED equivalent is required. Previous experience in a commercial janitorial role is preferred. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to be covered under the organization’s auto insurance are required.

Ability to apply basic mathematical skills to calculate inventory levels. Strong organizational skills to manage cleaning schedules and inventory of supplies. Attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation of all areas. Time management skills to complete tasks efficiently and respond promptly to cleaning requests. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Capability to follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Ability to identify and report maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions promptly. Flexibility to adapt to changing cleaning needs and priorities in a dynamic production environment. An individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to safely and efficiently operate equipment required for cleaning indoor/outdoor areas.
