The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in a food processing environment, ensuring that all areas meet health and safety standards. This role is crucial in supporting our food production operations by preventing contamination and promoting a safe working environment. Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning and sanitizing of production areas, equipment, and tools used in food processing. Follow established sanitation protocols to ensure compliance with health regulations. Conduct routine inspections of cleaning supplies and equipment, reporting any deficiencies or needs for replenishment. Assist in the setup and breakdown of production lines, ensuring all surfaces are clean before and after use. Engage in heavy lifting tasks as required to move equipment or materials during the cleaning process. Collaborate with other team members to maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment. Document sanitation activities as per company policies, ensuring accurate records are maintained. Requirements Previous experience in warehouse or industrial cleaning is preferred. Familiarity with food processing environments is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely (up to 50 pounds). Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is advantageous. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work in the heat. Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
