The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role involves a combination of commercial cleaning, floor care, and general custodial duties to uphold the highest standards of hygiene and maintenance. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as required, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Assist with porter duties, including moving furniture and setting up spaces for events or meetings. Carry out residential painting as needed to maintain the aesthetic appeal of facilities. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly maintained. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Follow established protocols for waste disposal and recycling efforts. Experience Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. Experience in facilities maintenance or industrial cleaning will be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
