The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both industrial and commercial settings. Duties Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Execute industrial cleaning tasks using appropriate equipment and techniques to ensure high standards of cleanliness. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, mopping, and waxing to maintain the appearance of floors. Assist with residential painting projects as needed, ensuring surfaces are properly prepared and finished. Carry out custodial duties in compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment needs to management. Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to ensure facilities are kept in optimal condition. Collaborate with team members to complete larger cleaning projects efficiently. Skills Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred. Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment operation is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and waxing, is an asset. Ability to perform basic facilities maintenance tasks as required. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
