EVS Tech F & H Floors LLC Gainesville, FL 32607 Job Overview The Evs Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within healthcare and commercial facilities. This position entails performing custodial duties that ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation are upheld. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to following safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Duties Perform custodial tasks including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining various areas within the facility. Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing floors to ensure they are clean and presentable. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards while performing cleaning duties. Maintain cleanliness in hospital environments by effectively sanitizing patient rooms, waiting areas, restrooms, and other common spaces. Utilize appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment to achieve optimal results while minimizing environmental impact. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Assist in training new staff on proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols as needed. Experience Previous experience in custodial or environmental services roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and hospital sanitation standards is advantageous. Knowledge of OSHA regulations related to cleaning and sanitation is a plus. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if necessary. Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
