They may also perform inspections as required by the Federal Aviation Administration. These workers are responsible for cleaning the passenger cabin, crew and cockpit areas of an aircraft. Aircraft Cleaners also clean the cargo hold of planes. They may need to document their work, read training manuals and report any unusual findings. Their work duties include using and mixing cleaning products, handling potentially hazardous waste, maintaining supply inventories, using cleaning machines, performing light, medium, and heavy-duty cleaning by hand and with the use of tools, and applying polishes and disinfectants to restore the condition of an aircraft between flights.

Duties:

 Driving duties  Clean Aircraft Interiors such as seating areas, galleys and toilets.  Wipe clean all meal trays, overhead bins and windows.  Wipe clean the emergency strip lighting along the aisle floor.  Wipe clean toilet and galley areas, including mirrors, floors and steel surfaces.  Clean aircraft exterior. Including perform aircraft Brightwork.  Any other duties as reasonably requested by your supervisor. Qualifications Training /

Skills Required:

 Ability to handle power machines. Able to lift 12lbs or more  Ability to read, write and understand basic English.  Ability to work under pressure, yet maintain high standards.  Able to follow instructions and to work as part of a team.  Punctual and reliable.

Additional information:

 Must be able to work mixed shifts in an on call basis.  Must be able to perform a background check and drug test as needed

$18.00 – $22.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
