Janitorial Sales Basic Function:

The Account Executive plays a key role in developing new prospects and accounts. This position consists of making outside cold calls to local businesses and companies, calling to schedule appointments, creating and delivering proposals from sales leads, etc. This position will focus on developing and securing new business with local small to large-sized business locations throughout the area. The focus will be on achieving sales goals through referrals, leads from inside leads, marketing and sales presentations that convey the value of A&S Total Cleaning to prospective clients.

Major Responsibilities:

Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services Responsible for all aspects of closing new business, with the goal to close the majority of sales on the proposal delivery Identify leads of target market through referrals Help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions and negotiations Qualify prospects through additional research and personal contact Give sales presentations to a range of prospective clients. Deliver proposals to account prospects, first in person and then via email, and follow up meetings Follow up on proposals and presentations via phone and email Utilize and develop system to create leads and referrals Review, follow up and work pipeline of leads in system Identify potential customers through cold calling and develop action plans to close them Answer client questions about credit terms, products, prices and availability Track and manage client engagement activity Understand and promoting company programs Review progress weekly with the VP of Sales Prepare for qualified appointments Travel to prospective account locations throughout their area Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs. Collaborate with office team members and field consultants Prepare weekly and monthly reports. Develop a strategic plan every year and review with the VP of Sales Attend all company events Participate in weekly sales meeting Attend and represent the company in at least in two (2) networking events per month Close or beat a 20% close ratio each month Enter all information into sales force

Education and Experience Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required. College degree preferred. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Janitorial sales experience preferred. Successful sales track record. Experience in and proven success with professional services. Previous experience with client management. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and oral communication skills required. Ability to communicate with different levels of internal and external customers. Experience understanding budgets, P/L, and forecasting Demonstrated leadership skills. Strong problem-solving, follow up, and negotiation skills, and ability to make swift, sound judgements. Winning contract negotiation skills. Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively. Valid driver’s license.
