The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in various environments, including commercial spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a safe and welcoming atmosphere for both employees and visitors. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks in assigned areas, ensuring all surfaces are clean and well-maintained. Conduct carpet cleaning, including vacuuming, shampooing, and spot cleaning as needed. Execute floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Provide custodial services by restocking supplies, disposing of waste, and maintaining cleanliness in restrooms and common areas. Follow safety protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Skills Experience in environmental services is preferred, with a strong understanding of cleaning protocols and procedures. Proficiency in commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Knowledge of floor care practices, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify areas that require additional cleaning or maintenance. Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
