Full Time Cleaner 4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 601 NW 42nd Avenue, Plantation, FL 33317 Si Habla Español, The cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall environment of the facility during daytime hours. This role includes performing routine cleaning tasks, addressing immediate maintenance needs, and ensuring that the facility remains presentable and safe for all occupants.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Cleaning and Maintenance:
  • Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in common areas, restrooms, and office spaces.
  • Empty trash cans and recycling bins regularly and replace liners.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies (soap, paper towels, toilet paper), and ensure they are always presentable.
  • Maintain cleanliness of entrances, lobbies, hallways, elevators, and stairwells.
  • Spot clean carpets, windows, and glass surfaces as needed.

2.

Facility Upkeep:
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of outdoor areas, including parking lots, walkways, and entryways.
  • Ensure all areas are free of debris, litter, and hazards.
  • Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facility Manager/Supervisor.

3.

Customer Service:
  • Provide courteous and professional service to building occupants and visitors.
  • Respond promptly to requests for assistance or special cleaning tasks.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down for meetings, events, and other activities as required.

4.

Health and Safety:
  • Follow all safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards to the Facility Manager/Supervisor immediately.

5.

Other Duties:
  • Assist with emergency clean-up tasks as needed.
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, unclogging sinks, or tightening loose fixtures.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a janitorial or custodial role preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Working Conditions:
  • Primarily works indoors, with occasional outdoor tasks.
  • May be exposed to cleaning chemicals and must use appropriate PPE.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
Responsabilidades Clave:

Mantenimiento:

  • Participar en sesiones de capacitación y reuniones de equipo según sea requerido.
Calificaciones:
  • Experiencia previa en un rol de limpieza o conserjería preferida.
  • Conocimiento básico de productos, técnicas y equipos de limpieza.
  • Capacidad para trabajar de manera independiente y gestionar el tiempo de manera efectiva.
  • Gran atención al detalle y compromiso con el mantenimiento de altos estándares de limpieza.
  • Buenas habilidades de comunicación e interpersonales.
