This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are clean, well-maintained, and safe for all employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and functionality within the premises. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of various areas within the facility. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to maintain a clean and polished appearance. Carry out custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring all areas are sanitized and presentable. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts to promote a clean environment. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management regarding cleaning or repair needs. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are in good working condition. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and adherence to safety protocols. Experience Previous experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or industrial cleaning is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types is advantageous. Experience in facilities maintenance or residential painting is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively while performing multiple tasks.
