The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with a focus on both industrial and commercial cleaning standards. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness. Conduct thorough custodial duties such as dusting surfaces, sanitizing restrooms, and emptying trash receptacles. Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed. Execute floor care procedures including buffing and waxing to ensure high-quality appearance. Assist in residential painting projects when required, ensuring proper techniques are applied for optimal results. Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained according to established standards. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Qualifications Proven experience in industrial cleaning, custodial work, or facilities maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties, including lifting and moving equipment or supplies as necessary.
