JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Janitorial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of our condominium property. This individual must be a self-starter who takes pride in their work, pays attention to detail, and doesn’t need constant supervision. The ideal candidate is someone who sees what needs to be done and gets it done without being asked.
THE JOB IS 30 HOURS PER WEEK. WORKING ON MONDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY AND SATURDAY FROM 9AM TO 3PM . TUESDAY AND SUNDAYS ARE DAYS OFF. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform daily cleaning and upkeep of common areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, stairwells, laundry rooms, and restrooms, gym Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors Clean windows, glass doors, and mirrors Remove trash and recyclables from designated areas and replace liners Dust and wipe down surfaces, handrails, mailboxes, and fixtures, gym equipment Restock restroom supplies and report inventory needs Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to the property manager Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas including entryways, walkways, and parking lots (as needed) Ensure all cleaning duties are performed in a timely and thorough manner Follow cleaning schedules and take initiative to address areas needing extra attention
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or cleaning work Ability to work independently and manage time effectively Strong attention to detail and a proactive attitude Physically fit and able to lift up to 40 lbs., bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods Trustworthy, dependable, and punctual Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies a plus
