Part-Time Condominium Janitorial Attendant Embarcadero Condominium Association 5200 NE 6th Avenue, Oakland Park, FL 33334 Part-Time Janitorial Attendant Job Description The Embarcadero Condominium Association is located at 5200 NE 6th Avenue, Oakland Park, FL. There are 276 condominium units within 34 two-story garden style buildings. The community is access controlled by security and has two swimming pools, a clubhouse, fitness center, and laundry room. The Janitorial Attendant duties involve maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of common areas, including the fitness center, all public restrooms, breezeways, foyers, laundry rooms, pool decks/furniture and other shared spaces. This includes tasks like sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning restrooms and other facilities. Janitors also handle trash removal, recycling, and common area window washing. The Janitorial Attendant reports to the Property Manager and assists the maintenance staff as needed or directed.
Hours of Work:
Primary work schedule is Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. 20-Regular hours per week at a minimum.
Common Janitorial Attendant Tasks:
Cleaning Common Areas:
Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting floors, walls, and furniture and equipment in hallways, stairwells, and other shared spaces.
Cleaning Restrooms:
Sanitizing restrooms, refilling supplies, and maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
Trash and Recycling Removal:
Emptying trash bins, sorting recyclables, and ensuring proper waste disposal.
Window Washing:
Washing windows in common areas.
Floor Care:
Mopping and vacuuming of floors in common areas
Equipment Maintenance:
Maintaining cleaning equipment in good working order, such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers.
Supplies Management:
Keeping janitorial supplies in stock and ensuring a sufficient supply of cleaning products.
Other Duties:
May include tasks like replacing light bulbs, removing cobwebs, and performing minor repairs. Responsibilities of a

Qualifications:
Work Eligibility:
Must meet all applicable employment eligibility requirements. This Association requires that all employees complete an I9 Form and must pass a pre-employment drug test, and criminal background check.
Education/Training/Certifications/Licenses:
High School Diploma, GED or some secondary high school education.
Experience/Knowledge/Skills:
1 year general experience in a janitorial related position.
Language requirements:
Must be able to converse and text with an understanding of English Work availability requirements: 20 hours per week. Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. There is some degree of flexibility such as working 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift, push, pull 30 pounds following appropriate safety procedures.
- Work in an upright standing, sitting, kneeling positions for extended periods of time.
- Ability to work in different environmental working conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain).
- Walk and climb stairs.
