Position Summary:

This position involves performing a variety of cleaning tasks and ensuring that all areas of the facility are well-kept and presentable. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing various areas of the facility. Clean and disinfect restrooms and replenish supplies as needed. Empty trash bins and ensure that waste is disposed of properly. Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low. Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Adhere to schedules and routines to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently. Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements Minimum Qualifications:

Previous custodial or janitorial experience is a plus but not required. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Physical Requirements:

Willingness to perform tasks that require bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.

Skills:

Basic knowledge of cleaning supplies and their appropriate use. Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently under minimal supervision.

Communication:

Good verbal communication skills to interact with staff and report issues effectively.
