The Day Porter will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring that all areas are presentable and welcoming. This position requires a proactive individual who can perform a variety of custodial and maintenance tasks while providing excellent service to our clients. Responsibilities Perform routine floor care, including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing surfaces to maintain cleanliness and shine. Maintain cleanliness in common areas, restrooms, and office spaces through effective custodial practices. Engage in commercial cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Assist with facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or issues to management promptly. Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use. Maintain an organized work environment by keeping cleaning carts stocked and tidy. Experience No experience needed Previous experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred. Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment is a plus. Experience in industrial cleaning or porter roles will be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
