Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Specialist to maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards at a high-traffic, 25,000+ square foot regional operations center. The facility operates around the clock and supports 150-175 personnel across two main areas and four bathrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning of offices, hallways, and communal spaces, including vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and dusting. Clean and maintain four bathrooms to hygiene standards, ensuring regular restocking of supplies. Remove trash and recyclables from all work areas and dispose of them in accordance with facility guidelines. Maintain breakroom and conference room cleanliness, including surfaces, appliances, and seating areas. Replenish soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other sanitary supplies as needed. Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety guidelines, especially in sensitive or restricted areas. Report any maintenance needs, damages, or supply shortages to the supervisor promptly. Maintain a professional demeanor and respect confidentiality in a secure, law enforcement environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Prior janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred, especially in large or secure facilities. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow cleaning protocols. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Comfortable working in an environment with law enforcement presence. Must pass background screening and any security clearance required by the facility.
Working Conditions:
Physical activity includes walking, standing, lifting (up to 30 lbs), bending, and using cleaning equipment. Will be exposed to cleaning chemicals and various environmental conditions. Must adhere to all safety and security policies while on site.
