Monday – Friday, 20 hours per week (Exact hours negotiable; mornings or evenings preferred)
Position Summary:
The Client in Jacksonville is seeking a part-time Janitor/Cleaner to provide custodial support at the Regional Transportation Management Center (RTMC) , a 25,192-square-foot facility housing multiple law enforcement agencies and operating 24/7/365. This role requires attention to detail, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean, dust, vacuum, mop, and remove trash from offices. Clean and maintain breakroom areas and conference rooms. Sanitize restrooms (4 total) and replenish supplies as needed. Perform standard housekeeping duties as assigned. Ensure cleanliness of high-traffic areas in a facility with 150-175 employees. Weekend work may be required depending on operational needs.

Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience using cleaning equipment (vacuums, buffers, etc.) Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures At least 6 months of experience handling and using cleaning chemicals Strong attention to detail Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motion for extended periods Reliable transportation Must pass a Level 2B fingerprint-based nationwide background check and 5-panel drug screening (eCOC) English proficiency (speaking and understanding)
Preferred Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience cleaning large facilities (25,000 sq ft or greater)
