Full Job Description Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a clean and safe environment for employees and visitors. Must pass a government clearance background check to receive approval to work.

Duties:

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
• Empty trash bins and replace liners
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when restocking is needed
• Ensure all areas are free from debris and clutter
• Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
• hours are 1 p.

m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Janitor or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and techniques
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such vacuum cleaners
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
