ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Normal Hours Weekdays 7:30 am 4 pm As a School Handyman/Custodian, you will be essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for students and staff. Reporting to the Facilities Manager, your core responsibilities will include cleaning, floor care, and general custodial duties. Your experience in commercial cleaning and janitorial services will ensure high standards are met. Additionally, your skills in facilities maintenance and residential painting will support the upkeep of school facilities. Join our team to contribute to a positive educational atmosphere through your dedication to cleanliness and maintenance. Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations. Help clean up bodily messes including vomit, etc. in the building and restrooms. Remove waste in the cafeteria for breakfast and lunch and assist with cleaning cafeteria tables. Prepare meeting rooms for guests such as prepare refreshments and provide chairs and the necessary equipment to meeting Prepare hot refreshments in teachers’ lounge ( coffee, tea) in early morning Keep cafeteria floors at an acceptable clean level. Clean all high-use areas to reduce the spread of bacteria and any other harmful agents. Assist events, projects, or tasks (such as a move or bring items for events need) Accept incoming deliveries and place in assigned storage areas promptly. Paint building and do deep cleaning as needed.
