Position Overview :
This position performs tasks in the upkeep and repair of the facilities and grounds and will assist in keeping the buildings and grounds clean, orderly, and properly maintained. This is a heavy-duty janitorial position with some light maintenance duties as necessary.
Essential Job Functions :
Assist Custodian with overall cleanliness of the facilities. Carry out heavy cleansing tasks such as intense cleaning of manufacturing floors, cleaning walls and doors, cleaning light fixtures and vents, and deep cleaning kitchens and bathrooms. General clean-up of all areas to ensure a safe environment. Perform grounds-keeping maintenance functions as needed. Replace light bulbs and maintain lighting fixtures as needed. Report needs for repair or other hazards to supervisor. Assist in performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure the physical condition of buildings do not deteriorate. Other duties as assigned.
