The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on high standards of cleanliness and maintenance. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Conduct buffing and floor care to ensure surfaces are well-maintained and presentable. Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts throughout the facility. Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Provide porter services by maintaining the exterior of the building, including entryways and walkways. Support custodial efforts in both commercial and residential settings as required. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Experience Previous experience in facilities maintenance or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is a plus. Familiarity with residential painting and general maintenance tasks is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
