Janitorial Worker part time Modern Cleaning Solutions Tampa, FL 33614 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently. 10 – 15 hours per week Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Conduct industrial cleaning duties to maintain high standards of cleanliness in commercial settings. Execute floor care activities such as buffing and polishing to enhance the appearance of floors. Assist with residential painting projects as needed to maintain aesthetic appeal. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and ensuring sanitary conditions. Carry out facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all equipment is functioning properly. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Follow established safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment. Requirements Previous experience in custodial or janitorial roles is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and safe environment.
