Porter – Ro CBFS Hyde Park 1500 West Swann Avenue, Tampa, FL 33606 Ro in Hyde Park is looking for Porter to assist with keeping our restaurant location in a safe, clean and orderly condition. If you want to kickstart your career in the restaurant industry and be part of the behind-the-scenes operations, we’d like to meet you. Note that this role requires working in shifts and, occasionally, during evenings or weekends. Ro is a vibrant and welcoming establishment known for its exceptional service and delicious cuisine. We are currently seeking a dedicated Server Assistant to join our family and help us maintain our high standards of service.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
None Duties/Responsibilities:
Sweep, scrub, mop floors Dust furniture and fittings Empty and clean trash containers Dispose of trash in a sanitary manner Clean and stock restrooms Wipe down glass surfaces Wash windows as scheduled Operate mechanized cleaning equipment Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition Monitor and report necessary repairs and replacements Other duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Courteous and pleasant to all guests Ability to work as a team with fellow porters and other staff Ability to follow direction from supervisors/managers Previous job references are required Availability to work nights, weekend and/or holidays may be required
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous experience in the porter or janitorial field is a plus, but not required
Physical Requirements:
Remain standing for extended periods of time. Bending, squatting and lifting up to 20 lbs. for short distances. Ability to work with varying noise levels.
