Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Floor Cleaning Supervisor to oversee our cleaning operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in janitorial or custodial services, with leadership skills to manage a team and ensure exceptional service delivery.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of floor cleaning technicians to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations. Manage daily cleaning tasks including mopping, cleaning restrooms, carpet cleaning, windows, dusting, pressure washing, upholstery, etc. Train new team members on floor care techniques and safety procedures. Monitor cleaning equipment and supplies inventory, and coordinate maintenance as needed. Inspect work performed by team members to ensure adherence to quality standards and client specifications. Address client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally. Collaborate with management to develop and implement cleaning procedures and protocols. Maintain records of cleaning activities and prepare reports as required.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the janitorial or custodial services industry. In-depth knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, janitorial, and maintenance. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
