The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and upkeep tasks, with an emphasis on commercial cleaning standards. Responsibilities Responsible full all custodial cleanliness standards and its environments. Supervise custodial teams to ensure standards are met within allotted work hours. Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ensure all restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained. Assist with custodial duties in both commercial and residential settings as needed. Maintain equipment and supplies, reporting any shortages or maintenance needs promptly. Carry out facilities maintenance tasks to support the overall upkeep of the premises. Respond to special cleaning requests or emergencies as they arise. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and high-quality service delivery. Requirements Proven supervision/ manager experience in industrial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Familiarity with commercial cleaning techniques and equipment is advantageous. Knowledge of floor care processes including buffing and maintenance is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean working environment. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
