Are you driven by opportunity? Nextran Truck Centers is hiring! The Porter is responsible for ensuring the organization and tidiness of the Shop. Cleans the Shop. Runs floor scrubber. Performs general maintenance and upkeep to the Shop, grounds and building. Moves vehicles as needed to different locations on the dealership lot. Paints and cleans. Delivers and pickups various things from external locations. Operates a forklift. Safely lifts heavy items. Understands, keeps abreast and complies with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA, etc. All other duties as assigned. Skills and Qualifications Valid driver’s license and safe driving record Effective communication skills, basic math and reading skills, and ability to follow directions Ability to stay on track with little to no supervision Basic computer skills High school diploma or GED Physical Demands Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms Entry and exit from various types of vehicles multiple times a day Regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.; occasionally required to lift and move weight greater than 50 lbs. Frequently required to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear. May be required to sit for extended periods of time (hours) Regularly exposed to outdoor environments; hot and humid conditions Noise level is usually loud

Compensation:
