The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain floors through buffing, waxing, and polishing to ensure they are clean and presentable. Conduct industrial cleaning of equipment and facilities as required Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained at all times. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly. Provide porter services as needed, including moving furniture or equipment for events or cleaning purposes. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while performing janitorial duties. Qualifications Previous experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services is preferred. Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and polishing methods. Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors. Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving objects.
