DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES
Clean warehouse by vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting and cleaning surfaces as assigned. Use approved cleaning chemicals only with proper PPE as required and must follow SDS. Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using proper cleaners, sponges, and squeegees. Dust furniture and scrub surfaces clean. Clean and service restrooms, to include sinks, toilets, and urinals with mops and proper disinfectants. Move heavy furniture to vacuum/sweep underneath as needed Clean sinks, countertops, microwave, coffee makers, and refrigerators in break rooms Empties cardboard and plastic recycling and compacts Identify and report needed repairs on equipment to ensure they are well-maintained. Cross-train on other duties or areas as assigned by Supervisor Executing heavy cleaning tasks and special projects Ability to work in team environment Adhere to all general safety rules A General Cleaner is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of buildings, make sure buildings are closed securely.
