Janitorial Worker Merlin’s Staffing Solutions Opa-locka, FL 33054 Job Summary We are seeking experienced (minimum 1 year) dedicated and detail-oriented Janitors to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, including industrial cleaning and floor care, while adhering to health and safety standards. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks in commercial and residential settings, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas. Carry out floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and waxing to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Conduct industrial cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Maintain custodial supplies and equipment; report any maintenance issues or repairs needed for facilities. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as required, contributing to the overall upkeep of the property. Ensure all areas are free of debris and hazards to promote a safe environment for employees and visitors. Qualifications Previous experience( minimum 1 year) in custodial or janitorial services is required Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and equipment is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain cleanliness standards consistently. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Must be able to lift 50 lbs Knowledge of basic facilities maintenance practices is advantageous. A positive attitude and willingness to work collaboratively within a team environment.
