Completion of ninth grade and one year of relevant experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Perform general routine maintenance of restrooms, including cleaning lavatories, sinks, water fountains, mirrors, and floors, removing trash, and restocking toiletry items. Follow proper procedures for using chemical cleaners to prevent damage and ensure hygiene. General routine maintenance of Center floors that will include sweeping, mopping, stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed, ensuring surfaces remain clean and polished. Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of sidewalks, windows, and entrance doors, including removing debris, spider webs, and sod webworm cases, washing windows/doors, pressure washing and polishing fixtures. Report damages, replace light bulbs and clock batteries, perform simple repairs, and move furniture as required. Collect and remove trash from offices, labs, lobbies, and other areas, ensuring proper disposal and cleanliness. Vacuum and dust auditoriums, offices, and labs as needed. Clean furniture, fixtures, and equipment to maintain an orderly appearance.
EXPECTED SALARY
$16.00 REQUIRED
QUALIFICATIONS
Completion of ninth grade and one year of relevant experience.
PREFERRED
Custodial Experience:
Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or facilities operations, especially in large or institutional settings.
