Aircraft Cleaner Eglin AFB, FL Part-Time Hourly rate: $22.00-$25.00 DOE Summary Tactical Air Support is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Aircraft Cleaner to join our team at Eglin Air Force Base, Florida. This position will support Tactical Air’s fleet of fighter aircraft with over 75 years of combined experience in tactical aviation maintenance and more than 30 years of military adversary contract maintenance. As an Aircraft Cleaner, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and corrosion control of our aircraft fleet. Responsibilities Part time shift 7:00am to 12:30 pm flexible schedule. 5 days on 2 days off work schedule.

Expected hours:

15 – 20 per week

Schedule:

+ 4-5 hour shift + Holidays + Weekends as needed Aircraft washer and detailer job to include but not limited to the following. + Responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior cleanliness of aircraft + Perform washing, cleaning and lubricating of company aircraft. + Maintenance hangar upkeep and cleaning. + Assist maintenance crew as required + Adhering to all safety standards and regulations. + Potential to be trained as an aircraft mechanic for the right individual. Requirements + High school diploma/GED with at least 1 year of relevant work experience; previous experience in a similar role may be considered. + Must pass a preemployment drug test; Employee will be enrolled in DOT drug testing program. + Must have a clean drivers record and clean record to pass a federal background check for USAF base access. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high cleaning standards. + Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions closely. + Knowledge of aircraft practices and use of support equipment. + Must be able to lift 75 pounds, climb ladders and be on your feet continuously. + Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. + U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance. Desired Experience/Skills + Experience in aircraft industry. + Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor. + Familiarity with cleaning/corrosion techniques. + Previous experience in military. Physical Demands + Occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds (with assistance, if required). + Regular use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls; reaching with hands and arms. + Regularly ascend/descend stairs and/or ladders. Work Authorization + Must be lawfully eligible to work in the United States and complete a U.S. government I-9 Form. + Tactical Air Support is a Drug & Alcohol-Free Workplace .
