The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of airport facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for travelers and staff.

NOTE:

Pay rate is based on Location/Site/Post assigned.

Janitor/Cleaner Essential Duties:

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors. Maintain cleanliness of waiting areas, including seating, floors, and trash removal. Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces such as door handles, handrails, and elevator buttons. Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and remove trash from various areas, including common areas, escalators, elevators, stairwells, and sidewalks. Operate and maintain janitorial equipment, including hand tools, motorized cleaning machines, and chemical cleaning supplies. Empty trash and recycling bins, ensuring proper waste disposal. Assist guests with inquiries or concerns as needed. Report maintenance or repair needs to appropriate personnel. Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines. Perform other related duties assigned by the Janitorial Operations Supervisor or Manager .

Job Requirements:

Basic English proficiency to understand janitorial terms and safety instructions. Prior experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning services preferred. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Good communication skills. Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move heavy objects such as trash bags and cleaning equipment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
