Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep of our facility, handling basic maintenance tasks, and performing minor repairs as needed. This position requires a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
Lawn Care & Landscaping:
Maintain the exterior grounds, including mowing, trimming, and general landscaping to ensure a neat and appealing outdoor environment.
Basic Electrical Repairs:
Handle minor electrical tasks, such as changing light bulbs, replacing fuses, and troubleshooting simple electrical issues.
HVAC Maintenance:
Change air conditioning filters and assist with light HVAC maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
Building Aesthetics:
Keep the facility clean and well-maintained, including painting, light repairs, and ensuring that the building’s appearance meets the highest standards.
General Maintenance:
Perform minor repairs on plumbing, doors, windows, and other building systems to ensure the functionality and safety of the premises.
Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all safety protocols are followed and report any safety hazards to management.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and maintain an inventory of maintenance supplies and request replacements as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in building maintenance or a related field. Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems, and general maintenance. Ability to handle outdoor work, including landscaping and lawn care. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment. Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs. Excellent communication and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role, particularly in a commercial or residential setting. Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in facility maintenance. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
