The primary responsibility of this employee is to work the assigned schedule as well as assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the physical facility, to support a safe, clean, and sanitary environment for all. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties and functions, as outlined herein, are intended to be representative of the type of tasks performed within this classification. They are not listed in any order of importance. Responsible for work assigned and other duties as needed Responsible to report any unsafe acts and/or work-related injury to the Supervisor Performs basic maintenance items on the high school campus including but not limited to moving furniture, painting, and basic grounds functions. Cleans and disinfects all high-touch areas in the selected schedule. Picks up trash on Bishop Moore High School Campus (BMCHS) every day as needed Cleans and sanitizes restrooms Operate and maintains grounds equipment as required to perform job functions Other cleaning responsibilities as needed or directed Coordinates and performs set-ups for events in the facility May assist in the opening of the facility, unlocking doors, and deactivation of the alarms Responsible for maintaining building security in assigned areas and as directed Assists with the maintenance of a safe environment and reports safety hazards to the appropriate personnel Other duties as required.

Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma or its equivalent is beneficial. Ability to read labels and understand appropriate written directions. Ability to work and perform in a strong team environment Must be flexible in meeting the needs of the department Ability to bend, lift, and move objects in excess of 60 pounds Ability to work on a ladder or in high places Ability to work with hazardous materials Ability to pass background and drug screening Must be reliable and have a strong attendance record Must have the ability to multitask
