Position Summary:
Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Custodial Worker. – Boca Raton, FL.
Summary of responsibilities:
Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms and/or assigned work areas by utilizing proper cleaning methods. May include but not limited to sweeping, dusting, mopping, waxing, and vacuuming. Replenishes supplies as necessary. Cleans kitchens, lounges, hallways, stairwells, offices, conference rooms and other public areas as assigned by using proper cleaning methods. Removes trash/garbage and recycle items. Cleans receptacles and janitorial closets as necessary. Cleans (dusts and/or washes) furnishings, light fixtures, and/or air conditioning vents using proper cleaning methods or equipment. Washes windows and/or sweeps stairwells. Reports building damages or problems to supervisor. Performs special projects. May include moving furniture or furnishings, room set up including linen or changing linen, and minor maintenance as necessary. Performs other related duties as required.
