Lobby Attendant Position Summary :

The Laundry Attendant will report directly to Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Inspectors. Core responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to: To maximize guest satisfaction and to maintain the overall cleanliness of the resort lobby & public space by cleaning all assigned areas thoroughly on a daily basis. Follow all company policies and procedures; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests’ service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager. Speak with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Specific Responsibilities:

1.Clean and maintain Mexican tile at the lobby. 2. Clean and shine brass post located at the Front desk. 3. Clean elevator areas at all times. 4. Clean glass windows and doors through lobby. 5. Clean all chairs and tables through lobby 6. Prepare frozen wash cloths for the pool. 7. Clean the tables and chairs located at the upper deck by the Sales room. 8. Keep enough coffee for the Sales Department. 9. Clean and vacuum Front Desk, Concierge, and Beach Buddies Kids Camp including the patio, Exercise Room including exercise machines, Sales room, Play Room, and Administration Offices. 10. Vacuum all carpet areas (administration hallway, lower lobby, elevators in-out, Main entrance, north side carpet. 11. Clean Lobby restroom, pool restroom and employee restroom. Make sure to have enough toilette paper and liquid soap. Floors must be cleaned or moped as needed. 12. Clean all the trash cans around the lobby and offices. 13. Answer any request from PBX, Front Desk or directly from the guests through phone calls received in housekeeping office. 14. Work with other requests that supervisor on duty gives you and consider necessary. Position Requirements (Skills/Abilities) :

Experience:

No prior hospitality-related management experience is required. Customer service experience highly desirable.

Education:

High School diploma or GED required.

Flexible Scheduling:

Must be able to work Evenings, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Holidays.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is required to use his/her hands and fingers to feel, and reach for objects of various sizes, shapes and weight. The employee will occasionally be required to climb a step ladder or balance and, to talk, hear and/or smell. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. Specific Vision abilities required for this job include Close vision, Distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus in various settings. Good Customer Service skills are a must.
