Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor/Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring cleanliness and maintenance across various facilities, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities :
Perform routine cleaning of commercial and industrial spaces, including offices, restrooms, and common areas. Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in both indoor and outdoor areas, ensuring all facilities are well-kept. Assist with custodial tasks including trash removal, window washing, and surface disinfection. Carry out basic maintenance tasks such as residential painting and minor repairs as needed. Respond promptly to maintenance requests and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks. Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety. Occasionally Move Furniture, Mattresses, to dumpster using golf cart. Use Golf Cart daily to perform job tasks. Skills Proven experience in facilities maintenance or custodial services is preferred. Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and commercial cleaning practices. Familiarity with floor care equipment and techniques for effective cleaning. Ability to perform residential painting tasks with attention to detail. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on maintaining cleanliness standards.
