Apartment Porter MFSS Tarpon Springs, FL 34688 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal and health of our landscapes, gardens, and lawns. This role requires a hands-on approach to landscape maintenance, ensuring that all outdoor areas are well-kept and inviting. The Groundskeeper will work with various tools and equipment to perform tasks efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities Perform regular lawn care, including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth. Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and trees through pruning, weeding, and planting as needed. Irrigate landscapes effectively to ensure optimal moisture levels for plants. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely for various landscaping tasks. Conduct routine inspections of grounds to identify maintenance needs or potential issues. Clear debris from walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness. Assist in the installation of new landscaping features or enhancements as directed. Collaborate with team members to complete projects in a timely manner. Skills Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques and groundskeeping practices. Experience with hand tools such as shovels, rakes, and pruners. Familiarity with power tools used in landscaping tasks. Knowledge of irrigation systems and their maintenance. Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality work standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods outdoors.
