The ideal candidate will take pride in their work and understand the importance of providing a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for our children, staff, and families. This role involves general cleaning, light maintenance, and minor handy work throughout the therapy building. Responsibilities Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal Clean and disinfect bathrooms, classrooms, therapy rooms, and common areas daily Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper Perform light maintenance and repairs (e.g., replacing light bulbs, tightening fixtures, unclogging drains) Ensure walkways and entryways are safe and clear of debris Report major maintenance issues or safety concerns to the Facilities Manager Assist with setting up or rearranging furniture or equipment for events or therapy rooms needs Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols, especially those pertaining to a therapy setting Maintain supply inventory and notify supervisors when supplies need replenishing Interact professionally and respectfully with clients, staff, and visitors Maintaining outdoors clean and taking care of small lawn Skills Proficient in installing various flooring types. Experience in facilities maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency. Strong ability to maintain equipment and tools for optimal performance. Familiarity with cleaning practices and standards. Ability to clean effectively while adhering to safety protocols. Experience in residential painting with an eye for detail and quality finishes. Background in custodial work with an emphasis on thoroughness and reliability.
