Full Job Description Position Overview:

This position is responsible for maintain a clean and working environment inside the building to which he/she is assigned.

Duties:

1. Report directly to Account supervisor and business supervisor 2. Maintains building interior by dusting and polishing furniture, equipment, mirrors, and fixtures; counters, walls; sweeping, sweep and mopping of floors; cleaning and vacuuming. 3. Removes trash by emptying trash containers; transporting materials to disposal area; recycling materials. 4. Keeps cleaning equipment operational by following manufacturer’s operating and care guidelines; completing operator repairs and parts replacement. 5. Maintains parts and equipment inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed parts; anticipating cleaning equipment replacement; placing orders to building supervisor. 6. Maintains safe working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. 7. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. 8. Keep restrooms clean and restock supplies in restrooms as necessary (if applicable to your position), 9. Clean and prepare kitchen, cafeteria, and/or break rooms (if applicable to your position) 10. Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies 11. Remove or warn of safety hazards, such as objects in the way of pedestrians or wet floors 12. Perform all of these duties, and/or additional agreed-upon duties as needed. Key Competencies  Attention to detail  Customer focus  Reliability  Listening skills  Adaptability  Planning and organizing  Team work  Adhere to Organizations Core Values  Honesty  High energy levels  Ability to lift 50 LBS Qualifications and Requirements  Must be bilingual – English and Spanish  Authorized to work in the US  Must be dependable and be able to have flexible hours including evenings, weekends and work rotating shifts if necessary.  Must be able to read and comprehend English work orders and follow them with accuracy and in close detail also be able to write orders to employee.  Must have effective communication skills and be able to speak clearly and correctly.  Must be able to work with and without supervision.  Knowledge of cleaning sensitive materials  Experience with sanitation products, techniques and methods  Working knowledge of operating cleaning equipment  Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend  Must be able to work under pressure and in a set environment.  Must be able to meet the rigors of the job.  Kings conducts random drug screening, background, reference and motor vehicle record checks.
