Job Summary and Qualifications We are seeking a(an) Floor Technician for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. To insure the esthetic and aseptic standards are met throughout the facility. Responsible for economical use of supplies. Follows BSI precautions when handling trash, soiled linen, and bio-hazardous waste. At completion of assigned duties, reports to manager / supervisor for additional projects. Participates in emergency preparedness drills, and actual emergencies as instructed. Follows all hospital and department safety policies and procedures at all times. Strips and waxes hard flooring according to procedures, paying close attention to baseboards, corners, edges. Machine scrub tile flooring. Extracts, and / or bonnet clean carpeting according to procedures. Mixes stripping, and carpet cleaning chemicals according to manufactures specifications.

What qualifications you will need:

High school diploma or GED preferred

Experience:
