Job Description
Facility Attendant / Custodian (Part-Time) City of Winter Springs (FL) Winter Springs, FL 32708 JOB This position performs routine manual work in cleaning, maintaining, and providing general upkeep of the Senior Center, Civic Center, and other Parks and Recreations facilities when assigned. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Aquatics & Facilities Supervisor.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Responsible for cleaning of parks and recreation facilities, included but not limited to, cleaning & sanitizing restrooms, offices, game rooms, and locker rooms, vacuuming, mopping and waxing floors.
Performs janitorial and maintenance duties at the Civic Center and Senior Center, or other facilities as assigned.
Completes daily facility maintenance inspection checklist.
Provides support to park facilities and recreational program activities when needed.
Assists with inventory of materials and supplies for the facility.
Opens, closes, and secures assigned Parks & Recreation facilities.
Performs other duties as assigned or as may be necessary at other Parks & Recreation facilities.
Regular in-person attendance, since face-to-face interaction and coordination of work with other employees, outside colleagues, residents, or vendors, and all immediate access to documents or other information located only in the workplace is required. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Must maintain valid Florida Driver’s License.
Work is required both indoors and outdoors at City Parks and Recreation facilities. Normal work schedule is Monday-Friday evenings from 4:30 pm – 9:30 pm however some work will be required on nights, weekends, and holidays.
