Non-Exempt Position Summary:

The St. Augustine – St. Johns County Airport Authority is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Cleaner to help maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment across airport facilities. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who takes initiative and pride in their work.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect offices, restrooms, breakrooms, and public areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and sanitize floors and surfaces
• Empty trash and recycling and restock restroom supplies
• Clean windows, doors, mirrors, and glass surfaces
• Safely use cleaning tools, supplies, and chemicals
• Report maintenance issues or supply needs promptly
• Ensure all cleaning is completed efficiently and to high standards

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 9:00 AM (20 hours per week) Some flexibility may be available based on operational needs

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• Clean background check required
• Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks
• Dependable, self-directed, and attentive to detail

Work Environment:

Combination of indoor and outdoor environments, including restrooms, offices, and common-use areas Use of standard cleaning equipment and chemicals May involve early morning work in low-light or quiet settings
