The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Duties Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in designated areas. Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas. Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and stripping floors as needed. Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of the building. Handle commercial cleaning duties in various settings including offices and industrial spaces. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly stored and maintained. Support special events by preparing spaces before and after use. Experience Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning roles is preferred but not required. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Skills in residential painting or porter duties are advantageous. Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and safety protocols is beneficial. Ability to operate floor care equipment effectively.
