Industrial & Janitorial Cleaner – Join Our Refinery Team!

8-hour day shift; may include weekends/holidays as needed Fuji Vegetable Oil, Inc. is looking for a motivated, dependable team player to join our refinery operations as an Industrial & Janitorial Cleaner. This is a hands-on role that blends facility sanitation with industrial maintenance and general labor support. You’ll:

Perform a range of janitorial duties, including restroom cleaning, breakroom sanitation, and trash removal from offices and high-traffic areas Complete industrial cleaning tasks, including pressure washing, paint touch-ups, removal of hardened oil/fat spills, and sweeping or vacuuming of designated zones Use forklifts or carts to transport waste, materials, or supplies Assist with audit preparation, 6S projects, and light facility upkeep Perform general housekeeping duties around tanks, equipment, and warehouse areas Respond to sanitation needs with urgency and care — including biohazards or cleaning up after oil-related spills Support department maintenance teams as needed (non-technical tasks only) Follow safety and chemical handling procedures, and wear all required PPE Log completed tasks per department schedule/checklist Other tasks / duties as assigned. What You Bring to the Table High school diploma or GED preferred Previous experience in industrial or janitorial cleaning roles is a plus Willingness to clean restrooms, lunchrooms, and other common areas, along with physical industrial cleaning Comfortable working in an outdoor/plant environment, including heat, odors, or loud equipment Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs, wear PPE, and work in confined spaces when needed Reliable, safety-conscious, and a strong team player Physical & Environmental Expectations This role is active and physically demanding. You’ll need to be able to: Stand and walk most of your shift Work at elevated heights up to 100 feet Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Operate pressure washers, brooms, mops, and hand tools Pass respiratory clearance (for confined space entry) Work around mechanical equipment, oils, and in varied temperatures Fuji Vegetable Oil, Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
