Position Summary
The Lead Floor Technician is responsible to perform and supervise routine floor care and special project work that includes floor care as well as other detailed cleaning jobs. The primary goal of this position is to provide leadership for the department along with ensuring floor maintenance is completed to the level of expectation of the Environmental Services Department.
Education
Graduate Equivalent
- GED 9 to 11 years of school
- Preferred
Experience
2-3 Years Floor care experience to include scrubbing, polishing, stripping, and waxing of floors of all types - Preferred
License & Certification
None Required
Core Job Functions
Ensures the facility is safe, clean and in good working order.
When the facility is not in good working order steps are carried out for correction in a very timely manner with notification to the director.
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills to use floor care equipment.
Performs all routine cleaning and periodic maintenance of hard surface floors and carpets.
