Chatham Subaru is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Lot Porter to join our team. The Lot Porter plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and organized service drive while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers. This position requires a professional demeanor, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain a neat, professional appearance and a clean working area. Acknowledge every customer and greet them warmly with a smile . Ensure the cleanliness of common areas, customer lounge, and restrooms . Keep the service drive clear and organized at all times. Use seat covers and floor mats to protect vehicles. Lock customer vehicles when parking them outside for security. Ensure all returned vehicles are free of smudges before delivery. Perform shuttle duties , safely transporting guests to their destinations (home, work, restaurants, etc.). Clean up any spills immediately to maintain a safe environment. Be mindful of cleanliness in customer areas and the service drive . Log all shuttle trips and vehicle deliveries with the receptionist. Keep the shuttle vehicle fueled, clean, and well-maintained .
Ensure courtesy vehicles are:
Fueled and cleaned before use. Checked for any customer belongings left behind. Cleared of loaner agreements or other paperwork left by previous customers. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications & Skills:
Strong customer service and communication skills. A positive attitude with a friendly and professional demeanor . Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record . Ability to operate both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is preferred.
