Custodian – Powder Spgs Elementary With Vehicle (10am – 7pm) Absolute Serve Attorney Services 4570 Grady Grier Dr, Powder Springs, GA 30127 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks efficiently. Duties Clean and maintain assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces. Perform custodial duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors. Conduct floor care activities including buffing and waxing as needed. Assist with residential painting tasks when required to maintain aesthetic appeal. Carry out industrial and commercial cleaning duties to uphold safety standards. Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Support facilities maintenance efforts by assisting with minor repairs or upkeep tasks. Skills Proven experience in custodial or cleaning roles is preferred. Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment operation. Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus. Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks effectively. Proficient in floor care methods including buffing and polishing. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
